 Hluhluwe- Imfolozi Park

 Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Park,formerly Hluhluwe–Umfolozi Game Reserve, is the oldest proclaimed nature park in Africa. It consists of 960 km² of hilly topography 280 kilometres.It is home to Africa's Big Five  and also the magnificent 8 which including the elusive Cheetah, Wild Dog and Hyena.

Isimangaliso Wetland Park 

One of the reasons South Africa is so proud of its country is the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. This is the country’s first  world heritage site which was awarded in 1999. iSimangaliso is like nothing you have ever seen in the world. Its 332,000 hectare area has 8 ecosystems, 3 major lakes, majority of the country’s swamp forests, coastal dunes that are over 25,000 years old, the country’s biggest estuarine system, and hundreds of bird and other animal and plant species

Ithala Park


Diversity is the key to Ithala Game Reserve. Proclaimed a nature reserve in 1973, the reserve has grown steadily with the addition of purchased land in adjoining areas.The reserve measures 29 653 ha in extent and is situated on the south bank of the Pongola River and overlooked by the Ngotshe Mountains. It has some of the oldest rock formations in the world are found at Ithala, dating 3,000 million years.Ithala’s big game species include white rhino, black rhino, elephant, buffalo and  wide variety of antelope.Predators include spotted hyaena, brown hyaena, the elusive leopard and serval.
